 When the new Nurburgring Grand Prix circuit reopened in May 1984 after undergoing major re development, the inaugural race was a celebrity affair arranged by Daimler-Benz.,  providing 20 identcal cars in road spec with roll cages and  wider wheels.  A star studded field of former and future GP drivers were invited to race including Stirling Moss, Denny Hulme, Alan Jones and may other ex world champions.  Young and unkown Ayrton Senna da Silva had just made his GP debut and won the race with Niki Lauda finishing in 2nd place.
This Auto Art model is magnificent in scale 1:18 with all opening panels and is a must for the seriosu collector.  Reasonably priced and supplied new in the Auto Art box, this is not to be missed.
