On the 27th of April 1924 Mercedes driver Christian Werner entered the Targa Florio in Sicily in his 2 Litre Mercedes Compressor and won against strong opposition. The Mercedes team also won the team prize with Werner - Neubauer - Lautenschlager.
The Italian Racing red paintscheme was to trick the Italian race fans into not throwing stones to the usually white German race cars. (!)
This is a stunning 1:18 scale CMC model featuring movable steering, full engine and suspension details. A beautiful interior gives the right feel to the model. Quite stunning and a must for the serious collector!
