The 1955 Mercedes Benz 300 SLR Gullwing Uhlenhaut Coupé by CMC. This car was developed by the chief engineer of the Mercedes racing division, Rudolf Uhlenhaut. The car was based on the 1953 300 SL and was built for Le Mans and Mille Miglia racing. However after the disastrous 1955 Le Mans race, Mercedes decided to withdraw from racing and the cars were not developed further.
