1. Terms and Conditions for Online Shopping

1.1 These Terms and Conditions explain your rights and obligations. Please read them carefully.

2.2 When you visit this site or send emails to us you are communicating with us electronically. We communicate with you by email or by posting notices on the site. For contractual purposes, you consent to receive communications from us electronically and you agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

3. PURCHASING FROM RACING MODELS

3.1 To purchase from us you must be over 18. If you are under 18, you may only purchase from Racing Models with the involvement of a parent or guardian. The personal details you provide must be complete and correct.
Please refer to the Racing Models Limited privacy policy [available on request] for an explanation as to how your terms and conditions will be used.

3.2 By submitting your order you are offering to buy the goods at the price set out in the order plus the mentioned shipping costs and are allowing us to use your personal details for the purposes of supplying goods (including passing your details on to couriers if needed).

3.3 We are not obliged to supply the goods to you until Racing Models have confirmed with you the following:
3.3.1 The acceptance of your order
3.3.2 Full and final payment of the goods as ordered has been received.

3.4 Unless the above under clause 3.3 has been satisfied, no contract will exist between Racing Models and yourself.

3.5 If you discover you have made a mistake with your order please contact
info@racingmodels.com immediately. Please do this before we confirm your order. We are unable to rectify mistakes after thee goods have been shipped, although you still have the right to cancel described in clause 7.1.

4. PRICING, PAYMENT AND TAXES

4.1 Prices are as offered.

4.2 We accept the following major currencies:

4.3 Your payment must be made at the time of placing the order or as reasonably practicable by credit or debit card or, via PayPal, Google Checkout or by cash. Please see the payment processing section for details of credit or debit cards we accept. If we are unable to accept your order due to your having insufficient funds available on your credit or debit card we shall contact you immediately and ask you for alternative payment options.

4.4 When you order items for delivery outside the UK the order may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the package reaches the specified destination. Any additional charges for customs clearance or otherwise must be borne by you. Customs duties vary from country to country. For further information please contact your local customs office.

5. AVAILABILITY AND DELIVERY

5.1 Availability details are provided for each item on the relevant web page. These details are checked regularly but may not always be current at the time of ordering. If we find the availability of an item has changed when we receive your order we will inform you by email of any items within your order that are unavailable.

5.2 We aim to deliver goods to you within the time indicated by us in our acceptance but we cannot give an exact delivery date.

5.3 We aim to ship the goods as ordered as soon as reasonably practicable. In normal circumstances this will be within 2 to 3 days upon receiving full and final payment of your order.

5.4 Racing Models will not be held responsible for any delay in shipping, including delay in shipping due to, without limitation, public holidays.

5.5. If we have not delivered the goods within 30 days of the date given in our acceptance then you may cancel the contract and we will refund any money paid by you.

6. DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE GOODS

6.1 We will always supply goods that are free from any defects. All goods are new and in perfect or in almost perfect condition with each in its unique box when shipping. Any imperfections will be described in the goods description.

6.2 You should inspect the goods when you receive them for defects or damage. If you find a defect or damage you must tell us as soon as possible and you will be asked to arrange for their return to us . If the goods are found to be damaged, or defective, prior to delivery to you we will repair or replace the goods, depending on availability or refund the price paid.


7. CANCELATION

7.1 You only have the right to cancel the contract and receive a refund if the goods have been damaged or have not been received.

8. Other Information of which You Need To Be Aware

8.1 We may not necessarily keep a copy of these Terms and Conditions and your order. We advise you to print a copy of them for your information in the future.

8.2 We reserve the right to amend our website, policies, and these terms and conditions at any time. Save where any change to any policy, or, these terms and conditions is required to be made by law (in which case it may apply to previous orders), you will be subject to the policies and terms and conditions in force at the time you order goods from us. If any of these conditions are deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that condition will be deemed severable and will not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining condition.

8.3 We will not be held responsible for any delay or failure to comply with our obligations under these conditions if the delay or failure arises from any cause that is beyond our reasonable control.

8.4 We do not sell on "sale or return" basis

8.5 A re-stocking charge of 15% will be charged for any returned items after our prior agreement or when an order is cancelled by you without any valid reason.

8.6 We will be responsible for any breach by us of these terms and conditions, limited to the value of the goods. We will not be responsible for any loss of business (including loss of profits, revenue, contracts, anticipated savings, data, goodwill or wasted expenditure) or any other indirect or consequential loss.

8.7 English law shall govern any contract between us. All dealings, correspondence and contact between us shall be made or conducted in the English language.

CANCELLATION of ORDERS / RETURNS POLICY k

Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, you have the right to cancel your order and receive a full refund if, for any reason, you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase from this website, or the goods are found to be faulty or damaged.


To cancel an order, please contact us in writing (letter or email). Orders may be cancelled any time from placing the order until seven working days from the day of receipt of the goods. Customers must take reasonable care of items returned ensuring that they are securely packaged for transit and clearly labeled. Returns are sent at the customers' own expense. If goods are found to be faulty, any return costs will be refunded to you. Always use the least expensive method of returning the faulty item. Once we have received and verified the returned item we will initiate a refund, replacement or exchange. This does not affect your statutory rights.

The Racing Models website may send cookies to clients electronic means of communications for the purpose of order and purchase tracking. Cookies will not be used to track activities other than for its stated purpose. No data will be disclosed to 3rd parties
Racing Models do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties.
